CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT

 

Concurrent enrollment allows outstanding juniors and seniors in high school to take college courses at Cameron University while still in high school.

 

AM I QUALIFIED FOR CONCURRENT ADMISSION TO CAMERON?

  • SENIORS:  ACT composite score of 20 or higher (SAT score of 940)

-OR-

3.0 GPA AND rank in the 50% of high school graduating class

  • JUNIORS:  ACT composite score of 23 or higher (SAT score of 1050)

-OR-

3.5 GPA

 

HOW DO I GET STARTED AS A CONCURRENT STUDENT?

Students meeting the above admission requirements must submit the following documentation:

  1. Application for admission and $15 application fee
  2. Official high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores
  3. High School Verification Form

 

ARE THERE ANY SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES?

Concurrently enrolled SENIORS in Oklahoma may receive a tuition waiver scholarship for up to six credit hours of college course work per semester while concurrently enrolled.

Concurrently enrolled JUNIORS in Oklahoma who achieve a minimum ACT composite score of 26 (SAT score of 1170) AND have a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher may receive a tuition waiver scholarship for up to six credit hours of tuition per semester while concurrently enrolled.  To continue to receive the waiver in subsequent semesters, students must maintain a 3.0 college GPA.

Students receiving a tuition waiver are responsible for all other costs including mandatory fees, books, parking permit, student ID, and any other associated expenses.  Students receiving a tuition waiver and taking courses in excess of six credit hours will be responsible for the full cost of the courses taken over six credit hours.
