Hi! My name is Amy Eck. I was born and raised in Duncan Oklahoma. I Graduated from Duncan High School in 2001. I continued my education at Oklahoma Christian University where I graduated in 2005 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. While I was at Oklahoma Christian University I also met my now husband Jacob Eck.  Jacob and I married in 2006 while still living in the Oklahoma City area. While there I taught in Mid-del Public Schools for 3 years.  My first year I taught Kindergarten then moved on to teach first grade for 2 years. After teaching for 3 years I became a stay at home mom.  I was able to stay at home mom for 5 years and during that time Jacob and I decided we wanted to raise our children “back home” so we moved to Jacob’s hometown, Waurika! In 2013 I returned to teaching and began my time here at Waurika Elementary. My family and I love Waurika! I am proud to be an Eagle and proud to be raising our children as Eagles!
